Bionicle: Mask of Light

bionicle the mask of light soundtrack

14 years, it had been 14 years since this fantastic movie had come out.  This was one of the first movies that I had ever seen, with it becoming a favorite classic for me.  A couple weeks ago, a remastered version of the soundtrack for the movie was released after the composer had finally found the lost sound files of the movie.  The soundtrack was for the movie Bionicle: Mask of Light which told the story of an adventure to find the legendary Toa (a warrior in this story) of light and defeat the evil Makuta so that they would be able to reawaken the great spirit Mata Nui.  As a child, I had enjoyed watching this over and over, as this movie was based off of a Lego series of the same name that I had collected.  Each time I saw the movie I had remained impressed in both the animation quality and the video quality.  This soundtrack has both given me a great sense of nostalgia for the past, but also helped me remember why I loved the Bionicle series in the first place, which was for its amazing backstory and characters.  Overall, this movie remains as a warm memory in my heart of the past, and I can’t wait for it’s sequels to have their own anniversaries too.
